Job Title: Family Law Attorney

Location: Washington DC

Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a highly motivated family law attorney to join our fast-growing legal team, voted Best Place to Work, Super Lawyers, and AV Preeminent rated.

As a family law attorney, you will handle a wide range of family law cases, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, adoption, and domestic violence cases.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in court proceedings related to family law matters
• Conduct legal research and provide legal advice to clients
• Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies
• Attend mediation sessions and settlement conferences
• Maintain client relationships and manage client expectations throughout the case

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in DC
• Knowledge of family law and court procedures
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
