Position Summary

Plant Controller is responsible for implementing and driving change in the following areas Cost Benefit Analysis, group reporting structures, fixed asset management, financial reporting, and cost accounting.

Position Responsibilities- Essential

As a dedicated tier 1 supplier to BMW, we are looking for an experienced, motivated, and skilled Plant controller. Implementing group reporting package standards with German company.

  • Fixed assets accounting management.
  • Inventory control and planning.
  • Monitoring and implementing Continuous improvement processes in operations.
  • Tooling project controlling
  • Support the Group CFO in implementing Group Reporting Structure
  • Evaluate all reports and maintain financial accuracy for all plant processes and analyze all business trends and provide required explanations.
  • Assist to maintain standard cost information for each product manufactured / sold, including work centers and machine rates.
  • Support audits of bills of material, routings and standard costing while establishing machine overhead and labor rates.
  • Assist with inventory management through physical inventories and cycle counting.
  • No direct reports but works closely with accounting team.

Position Responsibilities- Non-Essential/Other

· To support our growth and provide other opportunities to grow and develop the accounting department.

Essential Skills and Experience

· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

  • Three-Five years of plant accounting and/or finance experience is required, preferably in the automotive industry, showing increased understanding and responsibility.
  • Experience with an ERP system in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and able to utilize pivot tables and lookups with financial reports.

· Aptitude for numbers with attention to accuracy and detail

· Good organization and time-management skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of an organization

· Strong team leadership skills

· Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP

· Excellent MS Excel knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
