Healthcare Law Attorney – Fort Lauderdale
Our healthcare law team is seeking a skilled attorney with 3+ years of experience in healthcare law and related transactional matters to join our dynamic and fast-growing practice in Miami, FL. This position provides a unique opportunity to work on high-level healthcare regulatory and transactional matters in a collaborative and supportive environment. What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in healthcare law, including transactional matters, regulatory compliance, and healthcare-related contracts.
- License: Active Florida Bar license (MUST HAVE).
- Skills: Strong academic credentials and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Healthcare Focus: Experience working with healthcare providers, payers, or organizations, including hospitals, physician groups, or managed care entities.
- Independence: Proven ability to manage complex legal matters independently and efficiently.
- Problem-Solving: Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of handling competing priorities effectively.
- Team Player: Commitment to collaboration with colleagues and delivering excellent client service.
- Business Development: Experience building client relationships or contributing to business development efforts is a plus.
Essential Functions:
- Provide strategic legal advice on healthcare law matters, including HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statutes, and state/federal regulatory compliance.
- Draft, negotiate, and review healthcare-related agreements, such as provider agreements, joint ventures, and managed care contracts.
- Represent clients in regulatory matters before state and federal agencies.
- Communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner to clients and stakeholders.
- Support the firm’s business development initiatives by cultivating client relationships and attending relevant industry events.
- Manage client matters effectively, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with associates, paralegals, and administrative staff to maintain seamless case management.
