My client is looking for a Commercial Development Manager!

Responsibilities:

  • Acquire all essential services and coordinate all phases of construction for Industrial, Office, Retail, or Multi-Family projects
  • Value engineer construction drawings pre-construction and during project development
  • Monitor and control construction through administrative direction of on-site PM
  • Establish, manage, and maintain accurate development schedules and budgets
  • Establish and maintain a qualified subcontractor/supplier bid lists
  • Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Attend state/municipal government approval and pre-construction meetings
  • Research and eliminate variances through ongoing communication with on-site PM and field visits
  • Maintain a good cooperating relationship with engineers, subcontractors, employees, and material suppliers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Real Estate, or a related field (Preferred)
  • 5 years demonstrated experience developing industrial or commercial projects from pre-construction through completion
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Professionalism - approaches others in tactful manner; reacts well under pressure; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; accepts responsibility for own actions.
  • Safety - observes safety procedures; determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; reports potential unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly
