Director of Nursing

Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation | Full-Time | On-Site

We are seeking an experienced LTC LEADER to lead clinical operations within a rehabilitation-focused skilled nursing environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on nursing leader who thrives in operational leadership, staff development, and quality-driven care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead all nursing staff within the facility

  • Develop, implement, and maintain nursing policies and procedures

  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, performance management, and continued employment of nursing personnel

  • Ensure adequate staffing levels and ongoing clinical competency of nursing staff

  • Address and manage nursing staff conduct and performance issues

  • Maintain awareness and oversight of clinical incidents and operational concerns

  • Assess and support the health and care needs of residents in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

  • Current State RN license (required)

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in long-term care

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on supervisory or nursing leadership experience

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and manage nursing teams

  • Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and leadership presence
