Key Requirements & Experience:
- Experience: 5–7 years of post-bar experience, specifically in Plaintiff Catastrophic Personal Injury or Plaintiff Medical Malpractice.
- Defense Consideration: Candidates with significant experience on the Defense side of medical malpractice or catastrophic personal injury will be seriously considered.
- Deposition Expertise: Must possess significant and proven deposition skills. The ability to effectively depose parties, experts, and witnesses is crucial.
- Bar Membership: Must be an active member in good standing of the California Bar.
The Role & Firm Environment:
- Focus: You will manage a high-quality caseload of complex medical malpractice matters.
- Caseload: A manageable volume of 12–16 cases per year, allowing you to give each case the attention it deserves.
- Trial Track Record: The vast majority (~99%) of cases are settled favorably before trial. Trial experience is not a requirement for this role.
- Staff Support: You will be provided with significant staff members and resources to ensure efficient case management and preparation.
- Schedule: This is a 100% in-office position, maintaining a professional schedule from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
