Architectural Job Captain/Project Manager

An exciting and innovative Architecture and Design Firm located in Phoenix, Arizona is looking for a top-notch Job Captain/PM to join their growing team and promote for long-term success.

The Job Captain/PM will be tasked with overseeing day-to-day architectural design deliverables, drafting, modeling, drawings, construction documentation, administration tasks, and other routine maintenance duties to keep projects moving along on schedule. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of Multifamily Job Captain or Project Management experience. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Job Captain/PM will be responsible for the oversight and coordination of a variety of Multi-family Project deliverables during all phases of the project through completion. 
  • Oversee the efforts of a production team to produce high-quality construction documents within the allotted time and budget.  
  • Act as a point of contact for clients and outside consultants.
  • Design, sketch, and provide drawings of proposed projects.
  • Provide strong leadership through the management of relationships at all levels, internally and externally, with ownership, clients, production staff, consultants, and contractors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.S or M.S. Degree in architecture.
  • Architecture License preferred - but not required.
  • 10+ years of Multi-family Project experience including schematic design through construction administration phases.
  • Experience coordinating outside consulting engineers, specification research, obtaining agency approvals, and working with contractors is a big plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit is required!
  • Possesses a strong foundational knowledge of construction documentation, consultant coordination, and overall project leadership.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are essential!
