Commercial Property Manager

A successful 50-year-old Real Estate Investment Firm is looking to add an experienced Commercial Property Manager to their team. This person will oversee the operational and financial success of a portfolio of commercial properties. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of multi-building operations, project work, oversight of work order completion, 3rd party service provider management and overseeing tenant relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a mixed Commercial Real Estate portfolio, and be available 24/7 in event of any emergencies.
  • Proactively address and resolve any operating issues to maintain a high standard level of service.
  • Continually evaluate levels of maintenance services and opportunities for cost efficiencies.
  • Coordinate and manage a team of maintenance technicians while assuring that work orders are completed on time and per protocol.
  • Coordinate and oversee all in house maintenance services.
  • Monitor tenant operations to ensure compliance of lease agreements.
  • Maintain tenant relations and oversee any tenant related issues.
  • Assist with bidding and negotiating annual maintenance contracts.
  • Review and approve all invoices as necessary to ensure timely payment.
  • Assist with preparation of annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Monitor all tenant fit-out work and tenant related improvements.
  • Maintain relations with local officials and compliance with all local/state building codes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).
  • 5-7 years of Commercial Property Management.
  • Experience managing Retail, Flex Industrial, and Office Buildings.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interact with tenants, vendors, patrons, and municipal officials.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Proficiency with Yardi and Microsoft Office software.
  • CPM or RPA Certification is a plus!
