Civil Engineer - Land Development in Ann Arbor

A well-established, growing engineering and land planning firm is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to lead and design private land development projects. With a focus on commercial and subdivision developments, this is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse, impactful projects in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design of civil site plans for commercial and residential subdivisions, including grading, drainage, roadway, and utility layouts (AutoCAD Civil 3D).
• Oversee construction to ensure quality, adherence to specifications, and timely project delivery.
• Partner with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide them in project execution.
• Ensure designs meet local, state, and federal regulations.
• Prepare engineering reports and construction documents.

What We’re Looking For:

• PE License (required).
• 6-10 years of experience in civil/site development, specifically with commercial and subdivision projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other civil engineering software.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
