One of our clients is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join their growing team. Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of workers' compensation claims from inception to resolution, including hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Advise clients on their rights and options under Florida workers' compensation law.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, such as petitions, motions, and briefs.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
  • Represent clients at hearings and trials before the Florida Workers' Compensation Commission.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in workers' compensation law and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all case activity.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in Florida.
  • 2-5 years of experience handling workers' compensation claims.
  • Strong knowledge of Florida workers' compensation law and procedures.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of cases efficiently and effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Experience with case management software is a plus.
