We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Analyst (1-5 years) to assess the creditworthiness of individuals or businesses applying for loans or credit. The Credit Analyst will evaluate financial data, conduct risk assessments, and make recommendations based on findings to support sound lending decisions and minimize financial risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the risk involved in lending money to businesses or individuals.

  • Prepare credit reports and make recommendations regarding credit limits or loan approvals.

  • Monitor existing credit accounts to identify potential risks or opportunities for reassessment.

  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to internal stakeholders such as loan officers or risk managers.

  • Review and update the company’s credit policies and procedures to align with regulatory standards and market conditions.

  • Maintain detailed records of credit analyses, decisions, and client communications.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, economic changes, and legal regulations that may affect credit risk.

  • Collaborate with the sales and collections teams to ensure a balance between risk and revenue.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Credit Analyst or in a similar financial role. (1-5 yars)

  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and decision-making skills.

  • Proficient in financial analysis software, Excel, and credit rating systems.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
