Job Title: Physician Assistant – Family Medicine
Location: Muscatine, IA
Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 per year
Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Family Medicine clinic in Iowa. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered medical care in a collaborative setting, working closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of acute and chronic conditions across all age groups.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Provide preventative care, health education, and counseling to patients and families.
- Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic illnesses, including hypertension, diabetes, respiratory conditions, and musculoskeletal disorders.
- Perform minor procedures such as suturing, incision and drainage, wound care, and joint injections as appropriate.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic studies.
- Prescribe medications and manage medication regimens in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) documentation.
- Provide patient referrals to appropriate specialists when necessary.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Education: Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Certification: National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification required.
- Licensure: Active Physician Assistant license in the state of Iowa.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in family medicine, primary care, or a related field preferred.
- Skills: Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently within a team-based setting.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary: $110,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Work Schedule:
- Full-time position, Monday–Friday schedule 8am-5pm.
