CIVIL ENGINEER - REMOTE/ HYBRID

Come join a family owned and operated Civil Engineering Firm that is actively seeking a Civil Engineer.  This firm has an established location in South Georgia that can provide this same quality service located essentially next door to their metro competitors. Responsibilities/ Qualifications

• Work with Staff Engineers to create CAD documents
• Prefer a minimum experience level of 2yrs.
• Graduate from any Engineering program.
• Proficiency using CADD.
• Proficient construction process and drawing for water, roadways, water tanks, sewer and software. 
• Be great if they are a licensed engineer.
• Needs civil site design with grading experience,
• proficiency in writing detailed Basis of Design reports and drafting engineering reports, and then also CDBG report experience.
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is preferred but not required

Education/ Experience

• 2 or 4-year Technical degree in Drafting or similar with 2+ years demonstrated
  experience preferred
• At least 6 months of CAD technician experience required
• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• Solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with Engineering terminology
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to complete basic mathematical calculations
• Mathematical skills: ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fundamentals of
  plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions,
  percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions.
