Job Description

Quality Inspector – Metal Fabrication

Hiring a Quality Inspector to ensure precision and compliance in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment. 3-6 years of experience in quality inspection, preferably with a background as a CNC Machinist before transitioning into quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections using CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and a full range of gauges, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
  • Interpret blueprints and GD&T to verify part accuracy.
  • Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
  • Document and report non-conformances and work closely with production teams to resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with industry and customer specifications.

Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years of quality inspection experience in a metal fabrication environment.
  • Proficiency with CMMs and manual measuring tools.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.
  • CNC machining background preferred but not required.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
