Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a select portfolio of premium Commercial Lines clients, providing bespoke strategic advice and high-caliber service.
- Optimize departmental workflows, driving operational excellence to improve efficiency and maximize results.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Commercial Lines, managing daily operations and ensuring seamless execution of processes.
- Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, including cross-selling and expanding coverage offerings to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.
- Champion agency objectives, leading efforts to meet performance milestones while upholding excellence standards.
- Enhance the client service experience, ensuring satisfaction and fostering lasting relationships.
- Analyze monthly performance reports, using insights to guide strategic decision-making and align with departmental goals.
- Cultivate strong, productive relationships with insurance carriers to advance the agency’s interests and enhance operational success.
- Foster a high-performance team culture, leveraging leadership to inspire and empower team members toward collective success.
- Provide ongoing mentorship and training to optimize the use of the agency management system and carrier platforms.
- Play a key role in staffing decisions, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations, to build a capable team.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to drive success across the department and organization.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will bring:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance with a proven track record of success.
- Active MA P&C License (Property & Casualty).
- Proficiency in Applied Epic is highly preferred.
- A self-driven, accountable mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach with a focus on problem-solving and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and tools.
