Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Industrial Coating

Location: Ft Lauderdale - 25% travel

Job Summary: Our client, a leading construction contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with expertise in industrial coating, structural steel, and steel bridge projects. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in construction project management, with a focus on coating and painting applications for large-scale projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects, with a focus on structural steel and steel bridge coatings/painting.
  • Lead project teams, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain bid schedules and manage project timelines.
  • Collaborate with estimating teams and assist with project cost estimation.
  • Write and review proposals for potential projects.
  • Utilize computerized takeoff programs (e.g., On Screen, Plan Swift, Edge) for project planning.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards throughout project execution.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Construction Project Management, with a strong background in industrial coatings, structural steel, and bridge painting.
  • Estimating experience is preferred.
  • Experience with proposal writing is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead own projects as well as assist concurrently on other projects

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary range: $150K - $175K+ depending on experience.
  • Relocation assistance offered to the right candidate.
