Job Title: Virtual Design Construction (VDC) Manager
Location: Various Location in the Midwest
Job Type: Full-time
Experience Level: Mid-Level (5+ years)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Virtual Design Construction (VDC) Manager to lead and oversee VDC operations for complex construction projects, with a strong preference for experience in data center projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in VDC/BIM coordination, proficiency in industry-leading software, and a deep understanding of construction workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement VDC strategies to optimize project planning and execution.
  • Lead BIM coordination efforts, ensuring accurate and efficient modeling of project components.
  • Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to integrate VDC methodologies.
  • Manage clash detection and resolution using BIM tools.
  • Oversee VDC-related project documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Support the pre-construction and construction teams with digital modeling and visualization.
  • Train and mentor project teams on best practices in VDC and BIM applications.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Virtual Design Construction, with a strong preference for experience on data center projects.
  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other relevant tools.
  • Experience with 3D modeling, clash detection, and coordination workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and emerging technologies in VDC/BIM.
