Firm is a well-established, full-service law firm with a strong reputation in the Southeast for its construction practice group. They advise and represent some of the largest general contractors, subcontractors, developers, and design professionals across the country. As part of our continued growth in the Atlanta market, they are seeking a talented Construction Associate Attorney to join the team.
The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience handling construction-related matters, particularly construction litigation, contract negotiation, payment disputes, and construction defect claims. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile, complex cases and contracts involving both public and private projects throughout the Southeast.
Represent clients in construction litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
Assist with drafting and negotiating construction contracts, subcontracts, and related agreements.
Manage discovery, prepare pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
Conduct depositions and appear in court or arbitration proceedings.
Advise clients on construction risk management, lien law, and project delivery methods.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients across various industry sectors.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Licensed and in good standing with the Georgia Bar.
2–6 years of experience in construction law, litigation, or related areas.
Strong litigation, writing, and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with AIA contracts and Georgia lien/bond law preferred.
