Position Overview:
They are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join tehir growing litigation team. This is an opportunity to work with a dynamic group of legal professionals in a supportive environment with flexible scheduling options. The role is open to hybrid candidates depending on availability and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent insurance carriers, insureds, and self-insured clients in a variety of civil litigation matters

  • Handle cases from inception through resolution, including discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials

  • Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and other legal documents

  • Provide strategic legal analysis and case evaluations

  • Communicate regularly with clients, claims professionals, and opposing counsel

  • Maintain accurate timekeeping and billing records

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

  • Admitted to practice and in good standing in at least one Mid-Atlantic jurisdiction (e.g., PA, NJ, DE, MD, VA, DC)

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in civil litigation or insurance defense

  • Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Trial experience is a plus, but not required
