Job Description

One of our top clients is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join their team and help lead their nursing staff in providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients.

As the ADON, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the nursing department's culture, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving continuous improvement in patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, including scheduling, staffing, and performance management.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce nursing policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality care.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Conduct ongoing staff education and training to maintain competency and enhance patient care.

Qualifications

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in nursing leadership, including at least 2 years in an Assistant Director of Nursing or equivalent role
  • Proven track record of success in leading, motivating, and developing nursing staff.
  • Strong understanding of nursing policies, procedures, and regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: In person

Pay: $80,000 - $125,000 + DOE
