Job Description

Position Overview: As a Flooring Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients choose the right flooring solutions. You will work closely with our sales and installation teams to ensure accurate estimates and quotes are provided to clients, creating a seamless and satisfying customer experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist project managers with scheduling, coordination, and tracking of flooring projects.
  • Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely material deliveries and installations.
  • Review project plans, contracts, and work orders to verify accuracy.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including purchase orders, change orders, and invoices.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, identifying potential issues early.
  • Coordinate job site logistics, including material deliveries and subcontractor schedules.
  • Support the estimating team with takeoffs, bids, and proposals as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in construction or flooring project coordination is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with construction management software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of flooring materials, measurements, and installation processes is a plus.
