Field Service Engineer

Are you passionate about laboratory equipment and thrive in dynamic environments? We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting cutting-edge laboratory instrumentation for both internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and incident-based maintenance and repairs for EIA instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, both remotely and onsite, for internal teams and clients.
• Conduct inspections, evaluations, and advise on the condition and valuation of instruments.
• Install and configure laboratory equipment, ensuring client spaces meet instrument requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and provide guidance on instrumentation services.
• Deliver client training on routine equipment maintenance and promote customer satisfaction.
• Track, manage, and complete projects efficiently while maintaining administrative responsibilities, including expense reporting, parts ordering, and travel arrangements.

What You’ll Bring:

• Education: Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Engineering, Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 5 years in industrial or clinical laboratories, with hands-on experience in equipment maintenance and repairs. Knowledge of automated chemistry and biological sample preparation is a plus, experience with Beckman Coulter equipment required.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in laboratory settings.
• Exceptional communication, organization, and time-management abilities.
• A quality-focused, customer-centric mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel frequently (up to 80% of the time) and work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
