Job Summary
A leading food manufacturing facility is seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent to oversee night shift operations. This hands-on leadership role manages supervisors, mechanics, electricians, and boiler/refrigeration technicians to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production. We are looking for a strong communicator and team builder who thrives in a fast-paced, high-standards environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the night shift maintenance team

  • Ensure all plant equipment operates safely and efficiently

  • Strengthen communication between day and night shift teams

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and facility issues

  • Maintain accountability across all maintenance personnel

  • Coordinate with production leadership to prioritize work

  • Drive continuous improvement and proactive maintenance practices

  • Provide training, coaching, and cross-training opportunities

  • Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Must have food manufacturing maintenance leadership experience

  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration troubleshooting skills

  • Proven ability to lead teams in a production environment

  • Excellent communication, follow-through, and organizational skills

  • Creative problem solver with a proactive mindset
