Our client is a respected, locally owned food manufacturer with over 30 years of delivering fresh, high-quality dairy products. As they continue to expand, they’re seeking a Production Supervisor to lead their night shift team and contribute to the company’s continued success.
Position Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment. The Production Supervisor will manage a highly skilled team, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality are met during the night shift. You’ll work closely with other department heads to drive continuous improvement and maintain a collaborative team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coach production staff to meet shift goals in safety, efficiency, and product quality
Collaborate with other night shift departments to ensure smooth operational flow
Monitor inventory, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure maintenance support as needed
Ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and company policies (GMPs, HACCP, etc.)
Serve as a communication bridge between staff and upper management regarding shift performance
What You Bring:
3+ years of supervisory experience in dairy or pasteurized food manufacturing
Strong understanding of food safety standards and production best practices
Confident, collaborative leadership style with clear communication skills
Ability to operate and understand production equipment and performance data
Experience with inventory or production tracking systems preferred
