Gpac is currently working with a large food production organization that has an immediate need for a Processing Manager at one of their facilities in Central Ohio. This organization has gone through substantial growth over the last year and is one of the top 5 producers in their industry. The company provides a competitive compensation and benefit package, along with future advancement. 

The Processing Manager will be responsible for managing the overall production and processing operations, while reporting to the Senior Operations Team and GM.

  • Manage and lead processing employees, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
  • Develop and write production schedules to meet operational goals and customer demands.
  • Implement, and enforce SOPs for each piece of equipment and all processes.
  • Oversee processing maintenance to ensure equipment is functioning optimally and safely.
  • Ensure all sanitation practices are adhered to and maintained throughout the processing facility.
  • Manage the Food Safety & Quality Program as established, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and complete production records and charts

Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years supervisory/management level leadership working within food production
  • Must have a working knowledge of all equipment and processes and procedures to reduce downtime, reduce costs, and increase efficiency while meeting production deadlines.
  • Must demonstrate critical thinking skills.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to organize and prioritize work task.

Client is targeting $75,000-$80,000 base salary
