Structural Engineer

(Commercial Construction)

JOB DESCRIPTION
A dynamic contractor in the area is looking for a driven Structural Engineer as they continue to grow. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial construction and have OSHA 10/30 Certification. They have a strong and highly skilled group focused on teamwork and collaboration. Their compensation package is competitive including bonuses and a 401K program. This position is in the field, working at different job sites in Arizona (Must be willing to travel)

Structural Engineer Requirements:

• Commercial construction experience
• OSHA 10/30 Certification
• 5-7 years of experience working on commercial buildings

Structural Engineer Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 5-7 years’ experience in related field
• Ability to pass a Secret Security Clearance
• Strong structural analysis background with demonstrated work experience and knowledge as a structural analyst
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with finite element analysis, classical stress and strain methodology, engineering statics, and structural mechanics
• Computer skills with standard word experience
• Ability to listen effectively, take direction, and possess initiative to accomplish assigned tasks and complete work in a timely fashion
• FEMAP, NX NASTRAN, MathCAD experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic problem-solving skills
