Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager

North Philadelphia suburb, PA | Primarily In- Person (One day hybrid)

Salary: $75,000 – $105,000+ (Based on Experience)
Full-Time | Benefits Eligible

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager to take over a well-established book of business, supporting a smooth transition as a long-time Account Manager retires. This role is central to the firm’s operations and ideal for someone who thrives in a client-facing, service-driven environment.

You’ll manage a diverse portfolio of larger accounts ranging from $50K to $2M in premium, with a focus on large general contractors, but also including manufacturers, wholesalers, restaurants, catering facilities, and chemical manufacturers. You’ll be responsible for day-to-day servicing, marketing, quoting, endorsements, and client communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a complex book of commercial lines business
  • Interpret construction contracts to ensure compliance with insurance requirements
  • Handle certificates of insurance, policy changes, and endorsements
  • Assist with quoting and marketing across multiple carriers
  • Provide responsive, knowledgeable support to clients and internal teams
  • Collaborate with the producer and other Senior Account Managers for a seamless transition
  • Territory includes PA, NJ, and DE

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial lines experience (10+ preferred)

  • P&C license required

  • Familiarity with construction-related insurance needs

  • Strong technical knowledge and client service skills

  • Insurance coursework or designations (e.g., CRIS) preferred

  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment
