Feedlot Office Manager Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Feedlot Office Manager to join our team in Texas. This is a key administrative role responsible for overseeing daily office operations within the feedlot. The ideal candidate will have a strong background the cattle industy, accounting, HR, payroll, and the use of software such as Turnkey and Micro. You will be managing a team of 3 staff members while working closely with the CFO to ensure smooth business operations.

Feedlot Office Manager Responsibilities:

  • Office Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all processes.
  • Software Utilization: Use Turnkey and Micro software to manage and track feedlot operations and inventory
  • Accounting & Payroll: Manage financial tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, maintaining financial records, and processing payroll.
  • Human Resources: Handle HR duties, including employee records, benefits administration, hiring, and training.
  • Staff Supervision: Oversee and manage a team of 3 office staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and correctly.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports to the CFO on operational and financial matters.

Feedlot Office Manager Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with and knowledge of feedlot operations.
  • Proven experience in office management, accounting, and payroll.
  • Proficient with Turnkey and Micro software or similar platforms.
  • Experience in HR management, including benefits administration and employee relations.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage a small team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
