Job Title: Senior Estimator – Earthwork/Utility Construction

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator with 10+ years of expertise in civil site development, specializing in earthwork and utility construction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully estimating and managing projects, as well as strong business development skills to secure new work. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely with the potential for equity in the company down the line.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for earthwork and utility construction projects, including site development, grading, and infrastructure work.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to develop accurate and competitive estimates.
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and bid documents to assess project scope and costs.
  • Use industry knowledge and experience to win projects and support business development efforts, building relationships with clients, architects, and contractors.
  • Ensure timely submission of proposals, provide technical input, and help negotiate contracts.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of estimates.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience estimating and managing civil site development projects, with a focus on earthwork and utilities.
  • Proven ability to secure and win projects through effective business development and client relationship-building.
  • Strong knowledge of site development processes, earthwork, utility systems, and construction costs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary: 130,000-190,000 + Performance-Based Incentives
