Job Description

Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot for water/waste water treatment plants. 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of water and wastewater treatment equipment and control systems

  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and regulatory compliance

  • Calibrate instruments and monitor system performance to maintain optimal operating conditions

  • Install and commission new treatment systems, including mechanical, electrical, and control components

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals to support repair and maintenance tasks

  • Provide technical support and training to plant operators and facility personnel

  • Document service activities, generate reports, and communicate recommendations for system improvements

  • Must be proficient in working with PLC systems for control, programming, and system automation

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three years in electrical maintenance, service, or field engineering.
  • Strong ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Expertise in electrical controls, PLCs, motors, and drives.
  • Proficiency with computer-based control systems and basic networking.
  • Customer service-oriented.
