A well-regarded plaintiff-side employment law firm in Sacramento is seeking an experienced and passionate Employment Attorney to join its team. This is a great opportunity for an attorney who thrives in advocacy, values client relationships, and wants to make a real impact in the lives of workers. The position offers a hybrid workstyle, allowing for both remote flexibility and in-office collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent employees in a broad range of employment matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and PAGA/class actions.

• Handle all phases of litigation including case strategy, discovery, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation.

• Draft legal documents including complaints, motions, and settlement agreements.

• Provide clear, compassionate guidance to clients navigating difficult employment situations.

• Participate in negotiations, mediations, and court appearances as needed.

Requirements:

• J.D. from an accredited law school

• Active California Bar license in good standing

• 3+ years of experience in employment law litigation, preferably on the plaintiff side

• Strong writing and oral advocacy skills

• Self-starter with the ability to manage cases independently and collaborate with a small, dedicated team
