Quality Engineer | Defense & Aerospace Manufacturing

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our growing, state-of-the-art machine job shop serving the Defense and Aerospace industries. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environment with a company that values innovation and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

  • Support quality assurance activities throughout all phases of manufacturing

  • Review and interpret customer specifications to ensure compliance

  • Conduct and oversee FAI (First Article Inspections) and inspection data per AS9102 standards

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and drive process improvements

  • Maintain and enhance quality systems to meet Defense and Aerospace standards

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a machine job shop or development manufacturing environment related to Defense and Aerospace

  • Familiarity with customer specifications, FAI, and inspection data

  • Knowledge of GD&T and AS9100 principles preferred

  • Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
