A respected firm in Jacksonville is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2+ years of land use experience to join its growing practice. This role offers the chance to work on a mix of litigation and transactional matters involving zoning, permitting, real estate development, and local government regulation.
What They’re Looking For
2+ years of experience in land use, zoning, or related real estate matters
Litigation and transactional background with ability to handle hearings, negotiations, and document drafting
Familiarity with local government boards, permitting processes, and development approvals preferred
Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Member of the Florida Bar in good standing
What You’ll Do
Represent clients in zoning, land use, and permitting matters before local boards and agencies
Handle litigation and appeals related to development disputes and regulatory compliance
Draft and negotiate contracts, development agreements, and related real estate documents
Advise clients on municipal, state, and local land use regulations
Collaborate with developers, municipalities, and stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes
