As a Senior Accountant, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to small business clients, providing high-quality accounting services including monthly financials, reconciliations, and client support. You’ll work closely with a supportive team and enjoy the freedom to work remotely or in a hybrid capacity — your choice.
Prepare and review monthly financial statements for small business clients
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Assist with year-end closings and liaise with tax preparers
Communicate directly with clients, providing timely and professional support
Help improve internal processes and contribute to client service excellence
3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a public accounting or client service role
Strong QuickBooks and Excel skills
Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently
Must reside within a 3-hour drive of Madison, WI (for occasional team or client meetups)
Salary of $65,000-$85,000 DOE
Flexible remote or hybrid work setup after one week in-office training
