Position: Family Lawyer

Company Overview: Established and thriving law firm in Columbus is seeking a motivated and dedicated Family Lawyer to join our dynamic team.

Job Description: As a Family Lawyer, you will be responsible for assisting senior attorneys with case management, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and supporting clients in various family law matters. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior attorneys in all phases of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and client representation.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, agreements, and correspondence.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and client meetings as necessary.
• Collaborate with the legal team to ensure efficient case management and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Ohio State Bar in good standing.
• 2+ years of experience in family law practice preferred.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of professionalism and dedication to providing quality legal services.
