Hiring for an Electrical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Design electrical systems and control panels for boiler and chiller equipment.
  • Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Select electrical components and ensure designs meet applicable industry codes and standards.
  • Support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and production teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Troubleshoot design issues and provide technical support during manufacturing and testing.
  • Maintain engineering documentation and assist with design changes as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of electrical design engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience designing electrical systems, controls, and wiring schematics.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and component selection.
  • Proficiency with electrical CAD software.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with boiler, chiller, HVAC, or industrial equipment is a plus.
