Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative within the Lumber Industry to fill an exciting role.  This position is responsible for creating and fostering relationships with new and existing clients and assisting them through the purchasing lifecycle. Must have experience in reading blueprints for estimating out the clients projects.

Job Duties: 

  • Atrracting new business and maintaining relationships with current customers
  • Taking and Recording Measurements
  • Reading and Interpreting Blueprints
  • Creating Takeoffs
  • Preparing Estimates
  • Placing orders and ensuring proper delivery
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

    • 3+ years Outside Sales experience in Building Materials - required

    • Takeoff and Estimating knowledge - required

    • Blueprint Reading Skills - required
    • Local builder and contractor connections including book of business - reqired

    • Valid Driver's License - required
    • Strong understanding of building materials, construction processes, and industry standards - required
