Position Overview:
The Trust & Estates Partner will be responsible for creating and managing comprehensive estate plans, trust administration, and estate litigation. You will focus on serving businesses and high-net-worth clients by offering tailored legal strategies that protect and preserve their assets. This role requires a deep understanding of estate planning, tax implications, and fiduciary responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and advise on complex estate planning and trust administration for high-net-worth individuals and business clients.
- Develop and implement tailored estate plans that align with client objectives, including wills, trusts, and related documents.
- Provide counsel on tax implications and strategies to minimize estate and gift taxes.
- Assist clients with business succession planning and the integration of estate planning into their overall business strategy.
- Represent clients in estate and trust litigation matters as needed.
- Mentor and develop junior attorneys, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Contribute to the firm’s growth strategy by building and nurturing client relationships and enhancing the Trust & Estates practice.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in trust and estate law, particularly with high-net-worth individuals and businesses.
- Strong understanding of tax law, estate planning techniques, and trust administration.
- Excellent analytical, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment and drive practice growth.
