Position Overview:
The Corporate Attorney will play a key role in developing our Harrisburg office’s corporate practice. This position involves advising clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, compliance, contracts, and commercial transactions. The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial-minded attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to the firm’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel to businesses on various corporate matters, including formation, governance, compliance, and restructuring.
- Draft, review, and negotiate corporate agreements, including purchase agreements, contracts, and joint venture agreements.
- Counsel clients on mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
- Conduct due diligence and assist clients with legal aspects of transactions.
- Collaborate with clients to develop and implement strategies that align with their business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support.
- Participate in business development efforts to promote the firm’s corporate practice in the Harrisburg area.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, compliance, and contract negotiation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to communicate complex legal concepts to clients.
- A proven track record of successfully managing corporate transactions and providing strategic legal advice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with a commitment to client service.
