Job Title: Estimator – Roadway and Concrete Structures/Bridges
Location: On-Site, No Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator with experience in roadway construction and concrete structures, including bridges. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, performing take-offs, and supporting bid preparation for heavy civil infrastructure projects.
Review plans, specifications, and project documents to prepare detailed and competitive estimates
Perform material take-offs and quantity calculations for roadway, bridge, and concrete structure projects
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to clarify scope and gather pricing information
Maintain databases of unit prices and historical cost data
Assist in preparing bid proposals and supporting documentation
Monitor market trends and material costs to ensure estimates remain accurate and competitive
3+ years of estimating experience in roadway and concrete structures/bridge projects
Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and industry standards
Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, HCSS, Hard Dollar) and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
