Senior Business Litigation Attorney 
Location: Houston, TX (In-Office)
Compensation: $180,000 – $275,000 salary + bonus
Benefits: Health, dental, and vision | 401(k) with match | PTO

A highly regarded trial-focused firm is seeking a Senior Business Litigation Attorney with 6+ years of experience to join its commercial litigation team. The firm represents both plaintiffs and defendants in complex, high-stakes business disputes.

About the Role

As a senior attorney, you will collaborate directly with partners on complex commercial litigation matters and play a lead role in case strategy and execution. The practice encompasses contract disputes, real estate and construction matters, fraud and fiduciary duty claims, partnership and shareholder disputes, insurance coverage issues, and select appellate work. You will take primary responsibility for discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation, with opportunities for first- or second-chair trial involvement.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of commercial/business litigation experience

  • Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar

  • Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills

  • Proven experience leading depositions, mediations, and hearings
  • Trial experience preferred (1st or 2nd chair)

  • Arbitration experience preferred
  • Collaborative mindset in a fast-paced, trial-driven team
