Construction Estimator - Northern Phoenix in Tempe

Job Description

A well-established and reputable Commercial General Contractor has an immediate need for a proven Estimator/Preconstruction Manager to join their organization in Northern Phoenix.

This is a great opportunity to work with a stable company that has been in business for over 25 years providing General Contracting, Construction Management and Design/Build services for select clients. They specialize in ground-up construction and renovations in various market sectors and are growing out their Preconstruction Department. Projects are typically in the $5-70 million range. This is not for a contract hire, but a long-term career as they have an extensive backlog of upcoming projects.

Estimator Duties:

• Responsible for bid day preparation
• Preconstruction communications
• Bid documents such as plans and specifications
• Maintaining job folder organization
• Conceptual budgets/project costs based on quantity surveys with senior staff

Estimator Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience as an Estimator for a licensed General Contractor
• Candidates should have a four-year degree in Construction Management, Business Management, Architecture, Engineering or up to four years of directly related field experience
