Associate Attorney – Mergers & Acquisitions | Tampa, FL

A respected Tampa-based law firm is seeking an experienced Mergers & Acquisitions Attorney to join its growing corporate practice. This is an excellent opportunity to handle sophisticated transactional matters and advise clients across diverse industries on high-value deals and strategic business transactions.

What They’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in corporate law, with a strong focus on mergers and acquisitions

  • Proven experience managing buy- and sell-side transactions, including due diligence, drafting, and negotiations

  • Solid understanding of corporate governance, joint ventures, and related commercial agreements

  • Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills with a practical, business-minded approach

  • Member of the Florida Bar in good standing

What You’ll Do

  • Advise clients on complex M&A transactions, from initial structuring and due diligence through closing

  • Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, and other transactional documents

  • Provide counsel on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and business operations

  • Collaborate with colleagues in tax, finance, and litigation to deliver comprehensive client solutions

  • Work directly with executives, investors, and business owners on growth and strategic initiatives
