Gpac is partnered with a respected local law firm seeking an experienced Corporate/Transactional Attorney. This role offers a unique opportunity to step directly into a strong, established book of business with ongoing corporate and estate planning work already in place.

The firm is flexible regarding specific backgrounds but is seeking an attorney who can confidently manage complex matters across corporate, transactional, and estate planning practices while contributing to a collaborative, long-term team environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile and Responsibilities

The attorney selected will play a key role within the firm’s core practice areas and work closely with longstanding clients.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and service a robust existing client base for ongoing corporate and transactional matters
• Draft, review, and execute comprehensive estate planning documents and strategies
• Provide practical, high-level legal guidance and maintain strong client relationships

Required Experience and Skills

• Minimum of 3+ years of corporate, transactional, and estate planning experience
• Demonstrated ability to manage a significant caseload independently
• Strong collaborative approach and alignment with a supportive team culture
• Full commitment to an in-office work environment in Iowa (not hybrid or remote)

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in tax or probate is a plus
