Job Title: Senior Fire Alarm Systems Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Alarm Systems Specialist for one of our valued clients to lead fire alarm installation, and project oversight in the area. This role requires deep technical knowledge, a strong understanding of fire protection codes, and the ability to manage multiple projects. NICET Level III is strongly preferred and reflects the level of expertise we're looking for in this senior position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, program, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA 72 and applicable codes
  • Conduct system reviews, field inspections, testing, and commissioning
  • Lead project management tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordination
  • Collaborate with contractors, AHJs, and internal teams to ensure compliance and successful delivery
  • Maintain project documentation and prepare inspection and compliance reports
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior designers or technicians

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of fire alarm/life safety system experience
  • NICET Level III required; NICET Level IV preferred
  • Proficiency with major fire alarm platforms (Notifier, Siemens, EST, Simplex, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, and IBC codes
  • Strong communication and project coordination skills
  • Valid driver’s license with local travel as needed

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience managing small, medium and large commercial, healthcare, or institutional projects
  • Leadership or supervisory experience
