About the Role
We are seeking a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer with 2–5 years of experience who can add immediate value to the team. This is a hands-on position requiring professionalism, compassion, and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage approximately 100 cases per year as part of a collaborative team.
- Perform embalming and preparation duties with precision and care.
- Provide exceptional service to families during arrangements and ceremonies.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including every other weekend.
- Handle heavy lifting as part of daily responsibilities.
Team Structure
You’ll join a dedicated team of four directors, filling a vital fifth position to ensure smooth operations and excellent service.
Schedule
- Six-day workweek with assigned off days.
- Rotating weekend coverage (on-call every other weekend).
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Funeral Director and Embalmer.
- 2–5 years of professional experience.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work across multiple locations within a reasonable commute.
