Trust & Estate Litigation Paralegal – Los Angeles, San Diego, or Orange County

A well-regarded law firm focused on trust and estate litigation is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its team in Los Angeles, San Diego, or Orange County. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with attorneys on complex matters while contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.

About the Role
The Litigation Paralegal will partner with attorneys in preparing filings, discovery, subpoenas, document productions, and trial support. This role requires a strong understanding of probate and civil procedure, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and prepare court filings, discovery requests, responses, and subpoenas
  • Organize and prepare client documents and document productions
  • Create case timelines, indices, and exhibits for depositions and trial
  • Provide trial preparation and trial support to attorneys
  • Research legal procedure and substantive law as needed
  • Assist attorneys with case management and deadlines

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a paralegal in probate, trust, estate, or civil litigation
  • Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program, or Certified Paralegal/Legal Assistant designation (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and legal practice software
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
