Job Description

A well-known and reputable Agronomy company in the area is looking to add an Experienced PCA CCA Sales Agronomist to join their team. A competitive compensation and benefits package will be offered to the right individual.

Sales Agronomist Responsibilities:

  • Make fertilizer, chemical, and seed recommendations to growers
  • Work alongside other agronomists to carry out daily responsibilities
  • Facilitate positive long-term relationships with customers to create and promote long term repeat business
  • Prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals to ensure successful transactions
  • Forecast supply requirements buy month and annual basis
  • Perform a variety of agronomic duties independently
  • Keep up to date on all agronomy services and technology, including seed, Precision Farming technology, finance and marketing tools

Sales Agronomist Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of agronomy related experience preferred
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in Agronomy/Agriculture related field
  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently and with a team
  • PCA licensed and CCA Certified
  • Candidates with established relationships with growers in the region will be priortized
  • Must currently reside in the Southern San Joaquin Valley and have a valid drivers license
