Position Summary: New Business Development Pro

You’ll be at the forefront of our growth, identifying, securing, and managing national accounts in the temperature-controlled LTL and Truckload market. This is a role for a proactive, solutions-focused sales leader who loves the thrill of the hunt, the art of the deal, and the satisfaction of building long-term client partnerships.

What You’ll Do:

  • Be the go-to expert for temperature-sensitive LTL freight services nationwide.
  • Hunt down new business through prospecting, cold calling, warm leads, and referrals.
  • Own the full sales cycle — from quoting and negotiating to onboarding and relationship management.
  • Work hand-in-hand with operations to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Stay ahead of the curve on cold chain trends, market shifts, and competitive insights.
  • Travel 10–15% for face-to-face client meetings and industry events.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years in freight industry sales (3+ years in 3PL or asset-based logistics; temperature-controlled experience required).
  • Proven success managing and growing a $3M+ annual revenue portfolio.
  • Top-notch communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • CRM savvy and Excel skills.
  • A book of business and no non-compete? That’s a huge plus.
