Position Summary:
The Tax Manager will play a key leadership role by managing an existing book of clients and leading a team of professionals. This position includes oversight of client relationships, staff development, and technical review responsibilities in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships
Oversee an established portfolio of client relationships, providing proactive tax planning and advisory services
Supervise and mentor a team of tax staff and seniors
Ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction
Stay up to date on federal and state tax regulations impacting client industries
Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic initiatives and client growth opportunities
Qualifications:
Active CPA license in the state of Tennessee (required)
Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience
Prior experience at a local or regional CPA firm strongly preferred
Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple client engagements
Strong technical tax knowledge and communication skills
